Words are more destructive than you'd ever expect from mere syllables. For words are our arrows, tone and expression your bow. Words are maces and daggers, Spears and cleavers with which we lash out, in rage or spite, to attack and wound. Text is more powerful than you'd ever expect from mere syllables. For text becomes our shields. Ideas and context your chain mail. Text is force fields and casings, shells and skeletons with which we envelope ourselves, wrapping ourselves in the security of "hope" and "love", to ward off blows dealt us by those who wish us pain.
